ROMA

Jacket- Italian |Jeans, Boots- Zara Shirt- J.Crew | Red Punch Buggy- No Punch Back

First, I would like to publicly thank Mr. Rafe Masters for attending and covering New York Fashion Week on my behalf, with all honesty, I doubt I could have found a better correspondent. For coverage on NYFW, please click HERE & HERE. Taking a break from NYFW for an eat, pray, love moment here. This past weekend my roomies and I decided to take a break from Florence and took a spontaneous trip to Rome. I recall learning a thing or two about Rome during middle school, The Pope and the Colosseum, but to be completely frank, Eurotrip, Spartacus and That film with Hillary Duff, you know the one, has taught me everything I know about the city. Rome is similar to New York City. Minus the skyscrapers, the hot dog stands, oh, and the trendy hipsters from Williamsburg. But seriously, Rome is an ancient New York City. The one thing that is missing is exceptional graffiti art, Central Park and a countless number of those Supreme Kate Moss posters, but hey, The Trevi Fountain will suffice.

  1. There IS amazing graffiti in Rome! You just didn't get to see any of it. They try to keep the Centro neighborhood clean, but there is some great cool stuff in the residential neighborhoods. One of my favorites is the mailbox in Piazza Trilussa in Trastevere. Check it out next time. Have fun in Italy! I've been following your escapades and I'm jealous. ;)
